Welcome to the Saturday Show. Today is one of The Mother's quilts.
She made it to go with her red theme in the lounge and kitchen.
Doesn"t it look stunning with the basket and the roses? (It was my idea to photograph them together - what a clever sheep I am!)
The Design Diva quilted it. Just straight lines through the squares like The Mother wanted and then something coolio in the border. And those hearts and swirls REALLY are coolio.
This is how it looks in whole. Thank you Grandma and The Mother for holding it up.
And finally, this is where the quilt usually lives.
Lots of love

Love, love, love red and white quilts! And nine-patches along with solid squares are one of my favorite arrangements. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou have a flare for directing the photographer Baa! I agree, the hearts and swirls DO look "coolio" - did you know that word isn't in the dictionary... is it a sheep-ism?!
ReplyDeleteI love red and white quilts and it is wonderful. You did an awesome job of set decorating for the shoot.
