Jumping June: Bunny Quilt

Hello Paw-Pals,

Continuing with the Jumping theme this post is also about rabbits.

A rabbit quilt.  I think the Mother is having a rabbit phase.  When she lived in Kenya she got Miss H and the Geek some beautiful rabbits which they loved to play with.

She got the ideas for this quilt from Jedicraftgirl.blogspot.com. Click HERE for the tutorial.

As you can see she did raw edged applique and practiced her free motion quilting swirls again.  I think the fabric she used was pretty too.  Of course she can’t remember what it was called now.
I think when they talk about a quilters stash it is just a fancy name for a quilter who hoards fabric!

You know if they were real rabbits I wouldn’t be able to sit still…..just saying……

Slobbery Kisses,
Snowy!

  1. What a pretty quilt! Love the fabrics! You are quite wrong about quilters hoarding fabrics.... their stash is a carefully curated collection and requires a lot of time and energy.... tough work but someone has to do it! Christine x

  4. Snowy, come for a visit. Please, come for a visit. I have real bunnies that I wish would go chew up the neighbor's yard. I could even find a cookie or two, just for you.

  5. Hello Snowy, yes you can come & chase my real bunnies here too !!! The Mothers quilt is just sooo gorgeous & cute. And No, a quilters stash is just a rather large amount of fabric ... definately NOT a hoarder. You are learning slowly Snowy :-)
