Saturday Show: Snowmen Table Runner

Hello Peeps,

Christmas Day was lovely and sunny which was wonderful since the whole week beforehand was non-stop rain).

Today's show is this lovely Christmas table-runner.

Don't the snowmen look great with their carrot noses and button eyes?

The Mother used this coolio snowflake material on the back and for the binding.

Christmas Sugar-Cookies!

Hello Peeps,

On Friday, Miss H did some cookie baking for Christmas Day.

Yummy. Lots of delicious cookies.

Isn't this cookie so coolio? It has an indent in it to fit perfectly over a mug edge.

Mustn't forget these cute Christmas tree and angel cookies.

And Miss H didn't want the Enemy to feel left out while we munched on Christmas cookies so she made him his very own bone cookie.

Everyone needs a bag of stress relief capsules.

Miss H filled a bag full of M&M's and then added this coolio poem (found here).

Mmmmm.  More snowman poop. And look at it's adorable little case.

Christmas Cake and Plum Pudding!

Hello Peeps,

Yay! Grandma has made the Christmas Cakes. I hope that small one is all for me...

Grandma was given this georgeous Plum Pudding by a friend. It just so happens that the same lady who made this also made the Spagetthi and Baked Beans (seen in this post.)

Isn't it just the cutest? The lady gets her husband to knit the brown part (he is about 85 years old!)
then she finishes the sauce part off - isn't that so cool?

Yummy! The plum pudding was stuffed full of chocolates.

Saturday Show: Love Birds

Hello Peeps,

Today's show is a wallhanging that the Mother made with a panel and some charm pack squares from the fabric line Flirt by Sandy Gervais.

Doesn't it look sooo coolio? The Mother gifted it to Miss H because it is in her favourite colours.

The panel is really awesome with the birdies and pretty flowers.

The Mother backed it with this coolio pink fabric which has tiny flowers on it.

Gingerbread Houses!

 Hello Peeps,

On Friday we made Gingerbread Houses with the Bird Lady, Master C, Miss R, and Miss G (the lovely Chinese exchange student staying with them). Miss H hasn't made a Gingerbread House since she was 2 years old.

Their house is on the left; Miss H and my house is on the right.

First I will show you Miss R, Miss G, and Master C's house.

This is the front of their house. Can you see the Christmas tree?

Miss R wrote "Santa's Home" with chocolate letters. Do you think she will notice if I eat them?

Aren't the flowers on the roof sooo coolio? And look at the icicles hanging down!

This is Miss H and my house.

I suggested that we should put "Merry Christmas" on the house. Can I eat the letters now?

Follow the mini M&M path to our Gingerbread House.

Ops! Someone threw paintballs at our house. Heehee.

The Mother said the green icing on the back looks like cactus. Not quite what Miss H and I had in mind...
Can you see our pet dinosaurs in garden?

Here is Mr. Ginger. He has the coolio-est tie around his neck (it is keeping his head attached to his body).

Saturday Show: Lavender Fields

 Hello Peeps,

Today's show is a mini quilt which the Mother made.

She was given the pattern by Aunty M. Isn't it sooo coolio?

Here I am, here I remain. Unless there is chocolate over there...

Doesn't the lavender look awesome?

The table underneath the quilt used to be The Mother's Mothers and was made in Kenya.

The Mother hand-quilted it.

Here it is all laid out.

It's Christmas time!!!

Hello Peeps,

Yay! It is Christmas time. Miss H, the Mother, and I have already put up Christmas decorations. We don't have snow during Christmas (because it is Summer here) so the Mother got some fake snow and sprayed it on the windows.

Our Christmas tree. Can you spot me? (The Mother hasn't put the presents under the tree yet because she says I am too sneaky and would unwrap them while she was sleeping!)

The wicker chest of drawers have been decorated. Sadly the reindeers (on the right) were accidentally smashed shortly after this photo was taken. :(

On the dresser is my mini Christmas tree. Can you see the Christmas hoops in the background?

That boot of candy canes is all MINE!!!  Yummy!

Oh look, another Christmas tree. And coolio fabric crackers. I wonder what is in them...

Miss H replaced the display shelf items with Christmas themed items.

The nativity scenes have been set up on top of the quilt cabinet.

Miss H has also done some Christmas baking.

Don't they look like mini Christmas trees?

They are for a school Christmas Party that the Mother is helping with.

A Stamp Pouch

Hello Peeps,

Last week the Mother made a coolio pouch for the stamps and ink pad. Miss H had put them in another pouch (which she had removed the contents of), but the Mother decided it would be better if they had their own pouch.

This is it.

She used a stitchery that she had stitched awhile ago but hadn't used for anything yet.

She used cute star buttons for the toggles.

It fits the stamps and other bits and pieces perfectly.
The Mother has decided to join the "We Support You" blog hop by Mdm Samm.

Here are the coolio pink fabrics and ribbon she is going to use. The Mother will be making a pillow for Aunty S. who has recently had breast cancer.
