TAKE-OVER!!!

Woof woof!

My name is Snowy (aka. The Enemy). I have taken over this blog from the sheep - he is currently my prisoner. As you probably know Miss H is away in India - so Baa doesn't have his protector - that is how I was able to get control of his blog.

This is me. I was named after the adventurous dog Snowy from Tintin.

Two of my favourite activities are playing and going for walks.

I will destroy you, you evil toy! Woof!

I also love to eat apples. Mmmm... tasty apple.

Another of my favourite things to do is to go in the car. You humans should really try sticking your heads out the window.

In the holidays we go down to the beach house. And they take me for walks along the beach - where I am allowed to run freeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Watching the sunrise. Isn't it beautiful?

Who put this picture in? I look like a girl! I had just been for a hair cut at the groomers and they put a bow in my hair. Yes I am smiling - but only because I couldn't see what I looked like!

This is the only kind of horse I like. I am NOT friendly with real horses.

My nose helps me to get into all sorts of trouble... I mean adventures!

Woof! Bye for now. I am off on an expedition!

April Showers Sneak Peek!

 Hello Peeps,

Miss H is still in India so I decided I would show you a sneak peek of her April Showers Quilt - shhh, don't tell her!

She is using the April Showers charm pack she was given in the Skinny Pinny swap by her generous partner.

She lay all the blocks out and adjusted them, and adjusted them, and adjusted them... until they were perfect!

I got up very close so I had a good view of the sewing.

Keep it straight Miss H! I'm watching you...

Unfortunately I got a little too close. OUCH! That is my ear you are sewing!

Surrounded by squares.

Miss H has now finished sewing all the squares into strips. Now she needs to sew the strips together.

She didn't let me see a sketch of her design but I can tell you that the quilt will have the words April Showers on it...

Also, today is ANZAC (Australia and New Zealand Army Corps) Day, the day we remember our fallen soldiers and  honour them. Miss H, Kit Kat and the Boss will be going to the dawn service at the Australian Embassy in India. They have to get up at 3am in the morning! That is early.

It also happens to be Kit Kat's birthday. So,
 Happy Birthday Kit Kat!

Churned Jelly?

Hello Peeps,

The Mother has just recently finished sewing the top of her Giant Churn Dash Quilt together. (She would like you to note that it hasn't be ironed)

Isn't it pretty coolio? She used black and white strips (and the chickens have a tiny bit of yellow too).

See? The white and yellow chickens. Wow, I am looking very handsome today - black and white really suits me.

Ah, perfect place for a nap.

And the jelly?

Well, the Mother's friend, Aunty Z, made a jelly roll quilt and the Mother had it for a few days to sew on the binding for her. So of course I had to try it out.

Isn't it gorgeous? It's soooo cool how all the black is on one side.

Such pretty colours. The Mother almost didn't give it back as it suited her lounge - but I insisted that she return it!

I shall just fall asleep here.

Soooooo warm. I am nice and toastie now.

Six Yellow Mugs Sitting In A Row

 Hello Peeps,

Miss H has a yellow mug collection. And recently she added six yellow mugs to it from the Op Shop.

Here I am with the yellow mugs. Aren't they so COOLIO?

Some of them are yellow on the inside.

Others have white or cream inside.

These two have saucers.

This one is my favourite. Heehee. I am drinking out of a smiley face.

She flew off into the sunset... without me!

Hello Peeps,

Before I get to the reason for the post's name I shall tell you about seeing the Royals.
We had a FANTASTIC spot straight across from the Emirates Team NZ base where William and Kate boarded the yachts for their races (which Kate won, of course!). Thank you VERY much to Uncle K for having a boat in the Viaduct - which is part of the Auckland Habour.

Sadly Miss H's camera lens aren't good for zoom. So this is the best photo she got. And then she completely forgot to take more pictures when the yachts were going out - ops! Miss H and I were shouting and waving far too much! We got a wave from William AND Kate!  It was soooooooooo COOLIO!!!

Miss H just had to take a picture of this beautiful aqua coloured yacht.

Now, to explain why the post title is "She flew off into the sunset... without me!" Miss H has gone to India for 3 weeks! And I have been left here - alone! Why have I been left behind? Apparently I am too young... and also Miss H is very forgetful and will probably lose me...

This is what Miss H thinks I will be doing most of the time while she is away:

Me balling my eyes out becuase she left me behind.

But this is what I am actually doing:

PARTY TIME!!! I am digging into my stash of chocolate. Yummy!

Mini M&M's. Perfect for a little sheepie like me.

Hmm... which shall I eat first?

I wonder how many M&M's I can balance on my head?

And to finish off some DELISHOUS fudge.

Finally, even though Miss H is away I will still be posting on my blog (I have been watching her and know how to do it now.) So pop back every Monday and Friday for the next three weeks.
Miss H will help me reply to any comments when she gets back (I still haven't learnt how to do that one by myself.)

A Royal Morning Tea

Hello Peeps,

Today Miss H and the Mother took me along to their weekly morning tea with the Olds.

The tea-tray. Shall I play "Mother"?

Sausage roll. Mmmmm...

Avocado on crackers, so tasty!

This is MY plate! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!

And there was even pie - which came with a story too! Something about using the wrong pastry, and being made by a 91 year old lady...

This week the theme was Royalty. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with Prince George are in NZ for about a week, so we thought it was appropriate to have a royal theme.

Look at the pretty plates.

Definetely a "royal" plate.

One of the people bought two books that were published about the royals years and years ago. That is Queen Elizabeth II when she was younger.

And the royal family.

The Duke and Duchess are in Auckland tomorrow and we are going down to the Viaduct to see them. I can't wait.

Happy Birthday Miss H!

 Hello Peeps,

It was Miss H's birthday on April the 2nd.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS H!!!

Look at the cute card Grandma gave Miss H.

Miss H's friend Miss R decorated this mug for her. It is soooo COOLIO!

This is on the other side of the mug.

Miss R also made a mug rug to go with the mug. It is such a fun rug - Miss H is going to hang it up in the new sewing room because it's too special to put a mug on it.

Hanging around like a monkey!

Miss H also got yummy chocolate! Mmmmmmmmmmm...

The Mother and the Boss got Miss H this beautiful fabric. She already has plans for it...

Look at these old-looking fabric pieces - so lovely. One of them says "Chocolate, it's not just for breakfast anymore." I completely agree!

Miss H was given a limited edition NZ Breakers CJ Bruton singlet by The Mother, the Boss and the Geek.

 She absolutely LURVES it!

She had dinner with her family and friends.

Chocolate mud cake!!!  Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmy!!! Can I eat it all please?

The candles had cute spots on them.  Are you sure I couldn't just have a little nibble..?

The Chocolate Counselor's famous apple pie!

Then I nose-dived into Grandma's bosenberry jelly. Uh... what is this? I can't get through!

Delicious! This is my plate now, Miss H.

Although Kit Kat's gluten free options look just as tasty!!!
