Donuts!

Hello Peeps,

Donuts are one of my favourite foods - especially when covered in sprinkles!

Mmmmm! Donuts are sooo tasty! Which one should I eat first?

Miss H made some that look just as yummy as the real thing!

Hee...hee...hee... I think I have one stuck on my face! Thank goodness they are 100% fat free in the middle!

The donuts are made out of felt and the delicious icing is stitched on with blanket stitch. Sprinkles are scattered across the icing in several different thread colours. 

One donut for each leg! Is this Sheep Heaven?

Westies are the Besties!

Hello Peeps,

Miss H's favourite EVER kind of doggy is a West Highland Terrier. She loves them so much that she decided she wanted to make some to carry with her wherever. Miss H made some coolio Westies that will keep her hands warm whenever she is cold or keep her hands cold when it is hot. 

Ta-Da! Aren't they adorable? 

A perfect Westie that is VERY well-behaved!

Look! The little doggies fit perfectly in a hand. I am biased but I think that they are the coolio-est hand-warmers EVER!

The Mother got her hands on this one (the tester which is a bit underweight) and added some bling and named her Sassy. 

This is the cute lil' Westie that Miss H made for the Mother. Red on one side and blue on the other to perfectly fit the lounge.

Christmas Presents: Stitcheries Given a New Life!

Hello Peeps, 

Miss H's smile was a mile wide on Christmas Day when she unwrapped these two coolio presents! The Mother used three of Miss H's completed stitcheries to make them. 

Miss H loves stitching but isn't always sure what to do with the stitcheries once she has completed them so she puts them in this jar where they wait to be used. The Mother is welcome to use them in any projects that she wants. 

Dog Tails is a mini, mini quilt. Isn't it lovely with pink, aqua and brown?

Woof! 

I lurve how the little doggy is framed in brown like a picture frame. 

This coolio one is a mini quilt called Animal Friends.

And an adorable tapir. 

Aren't they the perfect set? I wonder where Miss H is going to hang them... she hasn't decided yet.

Sock Monkeys: Deezee and Annabelle

Hello Peeps,

Look at the coolio sock monkeys that the Mother got custom-made for her and Miss H for Christmas. 

This cute girl sock monkey is Annabelle. She is sooo pretty I think I may be blushing... shh, don't tell her!

Isn't her little bow perfect? And those adorable eyelashes? Swoon! 

Miss H was given Deezee. He is very handsome and I am sooo happy that he is going to come to Tauranga with me this year. 

His orange bow-tie makes him look classy - but don't be fooled! Deezee is a joker from head to toe!

Christmas in Wellington

Hello Peeps,

On Christmas Day we flew down to Wellington to see the Geek so he didn't have to spend Christmas alone.

We decided to have lunch in the nearby Wellington Botanical Gardens. This was our lunchtime view. 

Grandma had packed a yummy picnic lunch. 

The Sparrows were very cheeky little fellows...

They have impeccable taste though - Grandma's Christmas cake was divine!

Behind us while we were eating lunch was this massive gun which is called the Krupp Gun. It was captured during the First World War and after the War it was shipped back to New Zealand as a war trophy. 

After lunch we went to a rose garden in another part of the Botanical Gardens. It was so beautiful! 

Miss H loves taking pictures of roses (every time we see roses on a trip Miss H HAS to stop!!!), and so I thought I would share some with you:

This is the view from up on a hill looking down at the rose garden. 

I still have a couple more Christmas related posts to share. I know that it is well after Christmas now, but Christmas is my favourite time of year so I always make it last as looooooong as possible.
